Course Contents And How To Use

This course contains 9 videos and a selection of handouts. They teach you sections of 3 famous Rock and Pop songs/riffs. I’ve tried to make the videos as colourful and visual as possible. BSL and subtitles are used throughout.

I recommend students also consider downloading an audio visualizer that has a microphone function. This could be used  alongside the videos and when practicing. There are a lot of visualisers available -for example, my students especially liked Whitecap . Another great accompaniment to the course would be the app Rocksmith which is very visual and also uses coloured strings. I mention this in video 9.

Special thanks to Zahra from @deafsigns for her fantastic BSL tuition and help with improving these videos (including suggestions for my logo). I highly recommend her as a tutor!

This course is dedicated to my son Rowan who loves guitar.

Everything here is provided for free. However, if you’d like me to continue creating Deaf music tuition content, please consider a small donation:

Thanks and enjoy the course!
