‘GUITAR WARRIOR’ – A FLASH CARD GAME FOR BEGINNERS

My new flashcard game ‘Guitar Warrior’ is an enjoyable and humorous way to bring a video game style into learning key beginner guitar skills.

I’ve had a lot of fun testing it with my own students! It has especially helped some of my more distracted students make quick progress in the difficult early stages of learning guitar.

The flash cards are designed to reinforce basic concepts and cover roughly preliminary grade to grade 1, with a focus on G, D, Em and C chords because the classic I V iv IV progression opens the doors to so many great and well-known songs. Techniques such as picking, string-skipping, hammer-ons and pull-offs are also covered.
